First Lady Tests Positive For COVID-19
First Lady Jill Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 while on vacation with the President and other family members in South Carolina. She was experiencing cold-like symptoms when she tested positive and planned to start taking Paxlovid. The First Lady is fully vaccinated and double boosted and will remain at a private residence in South Carolina until she receives two negative tests. As one of her close contacts, President Biden plans to mask for 10 days, consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance.
